RESOLUTION NO. 24
(HOUSING AUTHORITY SERIES)
A RESOLUTION OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE
CITY OF SANTA MONICA APPROVING SUPERSEDING
PART I AND NEW PART II OF SECTION 8 HOUSING
VOUCHER PROGRAM ANNUAL CONTRIBUTIONS CONTRACT
NO. SF-520V AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION
(Including Project No. CA16-V1l1-002)
WHEREAS, the HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
(!IPHA!I) entered into a Section 8 Annual contributions Contract
(!IACC") on March 3D, 1976 as amended, with the United states of
America (IIGovernrnent!l); and
WHEREAS, the Section 8 ACC must now be revised so that it
will COr.S1st of the following counterparts:
a. Superseding Part I of the ACC, HUD 52520D (6/85), ap-
pllcable to the Section 8 Existing Housing Voucher
Program.
b. New Part II of the ACC, HUD 52520E (6/85), applicable to
the Section 8 Existing Housing Voucher Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE HOGSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Superseding Part I section 8 ACC and the new
Part II of the ACC for the Housing Voucher program are hereby
approved and accepted. The Secretary is hereby authorized and
directed to execute the counterparts of the ACC on behalf of the
PHA, to 1mp~ess the offlcial seal of the PHA on each such coun-
terpart and to forward such executed counterparts to the Govern-
ment toget~er w1th such other documents evidencing the approval
and author1z2ng the execution thereof as may be required by the
Gove:::-nment.
SECTION 2. The Secretary shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution, a~d thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be
in full force and effect.
