RESOLUTION NO. 233 (PAS)
(Parkmg Authority Series)
A RESOLUTION OF THE PARKING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
APPROVING ITS BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1999-00
WHEREAS, the proposed budget for the fiscal year 1999-00 was submitted to the
Parking Authonty not less than thirty-five (35) days pnor to July 1, 1999, and
WHEREAS, the Parking Authority held a public heanng on saId budget after a notice
of said budget hearing was published not less than ten (10) days prior thereto, and
WHEREAS, after said public hearmg, the Parkmg AuthOrity conSIdered further Its
proposed budget,
NOW THEREFORE, THE PARKING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS
SECTION 1 The budget as submItted by the Executive DIrector and reVised by the
Parkmg AuthOrity, entitled "City of Santa MOnica, Proposed Budget, 1999-00" (Budget), IS hereby
approved and adopted In adoptmg the Budget, the ParkIng Authorrty mtends to, and by thIS
SectIon does, adopt and approve the total operating appropnatlon, consisting of Salaries and
Wages. Supplies and Expenses, and CapItal Outlay major expendIture categorres, each program

category of the Capital Improvements budget, and the revenue detail The Executive Director IS
authorized to allot as appropnated A copy of the Budget IS attached hereto as Exhibit A
SECTION 2 A certified copy of the Budget shall be filed With the Director of
Fmance/Clty Controller and With the City Clerk, and certified caples of the Budget shall be
reproduced and made available for use as directed by Section 1505 of the Charter of said City
SECTION 3 In adoptmg the Budget, the Parking AuthOrity does hereby
reappropnate the unencumbered balances and unexpended encumbrances of the fiscal year
1998-99 Capital Improvements budget m an amount not to exceed $9,700
SECTION 4 The Secretary shall certify to the adoption of thiS Resolution, and
thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be m full force and effect
