RESOLUTION NO. 224
(Parking Authority Series)
A RESOLUTION OF THE PARKING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
APPROVING ITS BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1995-96
WHEREAS, the proposed budget for the fiscal year 1995-96 was
submitted to the Parklng Authorlty thirty-five (35) days prlor to July
I, 1995; and
WHEREAS, the Parking Authority held a public hearing on said
budget after a notice of said budget hearing was published not less
than ten (10) days prlor thereto; and
WHEREAS, after said public hearing, the Parking Authorlty
considered further its proposed budget,
NOW THEREFORE, THE PARKING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS;
SECTION 1. The budget as submitted by the Executlve Dlrector
and revlsed by the Parking Authority, entltled lICity of Santa Monica,
Proposed Budget, 1995-96" (Budget), is hereby approved and adopted
In adopting the Budget, the Parking Authority intends to, and by this
Section does, adopt and approve the total operating appropriation,
consisting of Salaries and Wages, Supplies and Expenses, and Capital
Outlay major expenditure categories, each program category of the
Capltal Improvements budget, and the revenue detail.
The Executive

Director 1S authorized to allot as appropr1ated. A copy of the Budget
is attached hereto as Exhibit A.
SECTION 2 .
A certified copy of the Budget shall be filed
with the Director of FlnancelCity Controller and with the City Clerk,
and certified copies of the Budget shall be reproduced and made
available for use as directed by Section 1505 of the Charter of sald
City.
SECTION
3.
In adopting the Budget, the Parking Authority
does hereby reapproprlate the unencumbered balances and unexpended
encumbrances of the 1994-95 Capital Improvements budget in an amount
not to exceed Twenty-Four Thousand Seven Hundred Dollars ($24,700).
SECTION 4 .
The Secretary shall certlfy to the adoption of
this Resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in
full force and effect.
