RESOLUTION OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF SECTION 8 HOUSING ASSISTANCE PAYMENTS
PROGRAM ANNUAL CONTRIBUTIONS CONTRACT PART I FOR EXISTING
HOUSING PROGRAM INCLUDING PROJECT NUI1BERS CAI6-ElI1-001 THROUGH
CAI6-Elll-004 PROVIDING FOR THE INCORPORATION OF SAID PART I
INTO MASTER SECTION 8 ANNUAL CONTRIBUTIONS CONTRACT NO. SF-520,
AND PROVIDING FOR THE DEPOSIT OF MONIES PURSUANT TO A GENERAL
DEPOSITARY AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS, the HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA (herein
called the "Public Housing Agency") has previously entered into a Master
Section 8 Housing Assistance Payments Program Annual Contributions Contract
(herein called the "Contract") with the United States of America (herein
called the "Government"), and nOl-I proposes to (1) enter Into an Annual
Contributions Contract Part I for EXisting Housing Program Including Project
Nos. CA16-EIII-00l through CAI6-Elll-004: (2) provide for the incorporation,
of said Part I into the Master SectIOn 8 Annual Contributions Contract
identified herein below; and (3) provide for the depOSit of monies pursuant
to a General Depositary Agreement with a financial institution which is a
member of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (herein called the "Bank").
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PUBLIC HOUSING AGENCY AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I
The proposed Contract, designated "Section 8 Housing
Assistance Payments Program Annual Contributions Contract Part I For Existing
HOUSing Program including Project Nos. CAI6-Elll-OOI through CA16-Elll-004"
pursuant to the United States Housing Act of 1937, as amended, ;5 hereby approved
and accepted both as to form and substance, and the Chairman IS hereby authorized
and directed to execute said Contract in three (3) counterparts on behalf of
the Public Housing Agency and to forward such executed counterparts to the
Government together With such other documents evidenCing the approval and
authorizing the execution thereof as may be reqUired by the Government.
SECTION 2
The Annual Contributions Contract Part I For Existing
Housing Program, as approved and accepted in Section 1 hereinabove, is hereby
incorporated into Master Section 3 Annual Contributions Contract No. SF-520.
SECTION 3
The Security Pacific National Bank and the Publ ic Housina
Agency have preViously entered into a General Depositary Agreement, Form
HUD-51999A dated February 10, 1976, which provides for the deposit of specified

Housing Agency hereby determines that pursuant to the terms of the Agreement,
the aforenamed Bank shall be the Depositary for the Section 8 Housing Assistance
Payments Program and/or Project established under the Contract hereinabove
approved.
SECTION 4. The Chairman, Vice Chal rman or Secretary is hereby
authorized and directed to file with the Government from time to time as payments
are required, requisitions together with the necessary supporting documents
requesting periodic payments to be made on account of the Annual Contributions
Cont ract; and the p roper off i cers of the Pub 1 I c HOllS i ng Agency sha 11 prepa re,
execute and deliver to the Government said requisitions In a form prescribed
by the Government and shall accept payment therefor from the Government, and
such persons are authorized to do and perform all other things and acts required
to be done or performed In order to obtain such payments which shall be deposited
and disbursed only in accordance with the provisions of the Annual Contributions
Contract.
SECTION 5. The Secretary shall certify to the adoption of this
resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in full force
and effect.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a publlC hearlng will be held
before the Housing Authority of the Clty of Santa Mon1ca ln the
Clty Councl1 chambers, located at 1685 Maln Street ln the City of
Santa Monlca, County of Los Angeles, Ca1ifornla, on the 24th day of
Juen, 1980, at the hour of 7:30 p.m., for the purpose of glvlng
interested persons an opportunlty to be heard as to whether a Co-
operation Agreement between the Houslng Authorlty of the C1ty of
Santa Monlca and the Houslng Authority of the County of Los Angeles
provld1ng for local cooperatlon in connectlon with the development
of dwelling units for living accomodatlons for persons of low
income ln the City of Santa ~onica shall be entered into.
