RESOLUTION NO.
RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA, CALIFORNIA
CERTIFYING THE FINAL ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT FOR THE PROPOSED DOWNTOWN
REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT, AND DETERMINING THAT THE PROJECT WILL NOT HAVE A SUB-
STANTIAL ADVERSE IMPACT ON THE ENVIRONMENT
. WHEREAS, a Draft Environmental Impact Report for the proposed Downtown Redeve1op-
ent Project has heretofore been prepared and circulated for comment pursuant to the
Ca] ifornla Environmental Quality Act of 1970 (CEQA), and State and local regulations
and guidelines adopted pursuant thereto; and
WHEREAS, a duly noticed publ ic hearing was held on said Report by the Agency on
August 12, 1975 at whIch time all persons were given an opportunity to be heard; and
WHEREAS, a Final Environmental Impact Report for the proposed Project has been
prepared pursuant to said statutes, regulations and guidelines;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND CERTIFIED BY THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE
CITY OF SANTA MONICA, CALIFORNIA, AS FOLLOWS:
I. The Agency hereby certifies that the Final Environmental Impact Report for the
Proposed Downtown Redevelopment Project has been prepared and completed in compliance
with said Act and said State and local regulations and guidel ines adopted pursuant
thereto.
2. The Agency hereby further certifies that the information contained in the Final
Environmental Impact Report for said Proposed Project has been reviewed and considered
by the Members of the Agency Board.
3. The Agency hereby further finds

in the Final Environmental Impact Report;
a.
That the adverse environmental effects of the Project shown in the Environ-
mental Impact Report have been considered and recognized by the Agency Board.
b. That the suggested adverse environmental effects of the Project raised in
the Draft Environmental Impact Report and in the comments to the Draft
Environmental Impact Report have been considered by the Agency Board and
based upon the information and evidence set forth in the Final Environmental
Impact Report, are found either not to exist, are of short-term duration or
can be adequately mitigated as shown in Section 7.0 of the Report.
4. The Agency hereby finds and determines that said Proposed Project Will not have
a substantial adverse impact on the environment.
