A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA CERTIFYING
THAT IS HAS REVIEWED THE
FINAL ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT ON
THE OCEAN PARK BEACH IMPROVEMENTS PLAN
WHEREAS, an Inl tlal Study was prepared on the Ocean Par k
Beach Improvements Plan In February 1984j and
WHEREAS, a NotIce of Preparatlon of an Envlronmental Impact
Report was lssued In February 1984j and
WHEREAS, Not~ce of CompletIon of a Draft EnVIronmental
Impact Report was publlched ln June, 1984, ln compllance WIth the
Callfornla Envlronmenta1 QualIty Act and the CIty of Santa MonIca
CEQA GUldellnes; and
WHEREAS, a publlC reVlew perlod explred In July 1984; and
WHEREAS, In August 1984, the completlon of the Flnal
EnVIronmental Impact Report on the proposed proJect, conslstlng
of the Draft Envlronmental Impact Report, comments on the
document, and responses to comments was certIfIed; and
WHEREAS, on August 14, 1984, the Clty Councll, as Lead Clty
Agency, and the Redevelopment Agency, as a ResponSIble Agency

NOW I THEREFORE, THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF
SANTA MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SEcrlON 1.
The Redevelopment Agency of the CIty of Santa
Mon1ca does hereby certlfy that It has revlewed and cons1dered
the F1nal Envlronmental Impact Report on the proposed Ocean Park
Beach Improvements Plan 1n determ1nIng whether to approve the
Ocean Park Beach Improvements Plan.
SECI'ION 2.
The Agency Secretary shall certlfy to the
adoption of thlS ResolutIon, and thenceforth and thereafter the
same shall be In full force and effect.
