Municipal Code deletes the fee tables for permit, plan and report review fees found
in these model codes and requires fees to be set forth by resolution of the City
Council; and
WHEREAS. Ordinance Number 1754 (CCS) (the "Ordinance"), adopted July 12,
1994, governs the setting of the amount of user fees or fees for services provided
to or for the benefit of particular individuals rather than the general public; and
WHEREAS, the Ordinance allows such user fees or fees for services to be set
by ordinance, by a resolution adopted by the City Councilor by any other means
authorized by law; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to revise the existing Planning and Community
Development and Environmental Public Works Management Departments permit
and user fees by this resolution,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. In accordance with Section 8.08.080 of the Santa Monica
Municipal Code, the Planning and Community Development and Environmental
Public Works Management Departments Permit and User fees set forth in
Attachments A, B, and C to this resolution are hereby adopted and supersede those
