A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
ESTABLISHING NEW CLASSIFICATIONS AND ADOPTING SALARY RATES FOR
THE FOLLOWING NEW OR EXISTING CLASSIFICATIONS: ADMINISTRATIVE
INTERN, ANIMAL CONTROL OFFICER, ANIMAL CONTROL SUPERVISOR,
ASSISTANT CITY ATTORNEY, ASSISTANT CITY LIBRARIAN, ASSISTANT
DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS, ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF TRANSPORTATION,
BEACH RECREATION LEADER, BUILDING OFFICIAL, CEMETERY CREW LEADER,

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The following salary levels are hereby established, effective June
30, 2024, for the indicated classifications:

Classifications listed in Section 1 and the associated salaries will receive City
Council-approved salary increases that become effective on July 1, 2024 (in
accordance with the applicable Memoranda of Understanding).
SECTION 2. The following salary levels are hereby established, effective June
30, 2024, for the indicated as-needed classifications due to changes in the Santa
Monica living wage and Santa Monica minimum wage:

SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution, and
thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.
