Yuan Background After. public hearing and careful review of the record and staff recommendations, the City Planning Commission approved the Tentative Map for the above project. The action of .the Planning Commission was based on their finding that the pro= posed subdivision should cause no substantial en vironmenta7 damage and is in conformance with a17 state and local laws and regulations and applicable general Plan Elements. The Final Map conforms to the Tentative .Map. The License Division reports that the developer has either paid or agreed to pay the condominium tax. The Building and Safety and Fire Depariments indicate that the project meets present fire safety requirements. Approval by the County Engineer's office has been received for the project. This property had been vacant for a number of years before subdivision application was made in October 1979.. It remains vacant with ;a building permit pending. Alterna*_ives State and City ordinances require approval of final subdivision maps which comply with approved Tentative Maps. JUN 2 4 198Q ~ . f ~. PLAY 2 i ' °r Mayor and City Councii Page 2 Recommendation Inasmuch as the Final Map confiorms to the approved Tentative Map, the buildings meet required safety standards and the tax has been paid or an agreement to pay executed, it is respectfully recommended that the City Council affirm the find- ings of the Planning Commission and approve said Map.
